brows brows brows

bonjour!

sorry for the late posts! the past few weeks have been crazy!

Anyhow, guess what i did 2 days ago? I went to Browhaus! I've been feeling weird about my eyebrows for a long time, but i never had the guts or the time to do anything about it, plus I thought the place was a bit expensive. Then looking at photos, i realized i looked like a man in most of em! I guess it was because of my weirdly shaped brows, i don't know if it was just me, or everyone thought i did, they just didn't tell me haha. So I scheduled an appointment and went my merry way! I initially just wanted them to shape my brows, but when I consulted with my specialist, Annie, who by the way, was the nicest person ever, she told me it would be better if i lighten my brows too since I looked a bit too harsh for my facial features.(who knew? haha ) I thought it was a bit too pricey for my liking, I am, after all, still a student, but they told me first timers get a special discount, and who could resist that? haha So there, I had my very first browhaus experience.

The place was very nice, and each client gets a cubicle, since i was reshaping and lightening my brows, i got Browgraphy Shaping and Color Tweak, which offers both, but at a cheaper price. Annie started to dye my brows a lighter shade, which matched my brown hair and then she started threading and tweezing away. She made the shape of my brows proportional and complimentary to my face shape. Who knew there was so much fuss about brows? I didn't think it was that important, but boy, was I wrong.

It didn't hurt as much as I expected, but then they did say they had this special technique of tweezing without the pain, which is always a plus. I didn't say it DIDN"T hurt okay, just a bit less than the regular threading and tweezing you get from other salons. Annie made me do certain stretches on my face while she threaded too, she said it was to lessen the pain, i guess it kinda worked, since I didn't feel as much. haha. After 45 minutes, the procedure was done and I had pretty, even, lady-like brows, heehee. I found the color a little too light for my liking, but I guess I was just new to it. I got used to it later that night, haha. Overall, they were very nice, and they talked me through the whole process. i can honestly say it was worth every penny! (i sound like an endorser HAHA browhaus, if you see this..hint hint..heehee) but really, it was. I think it made me look less harsh and it softened my features, which is a great thing. haha i think i'm going to be a regular at browhaus ;)

p.s sorry if the photo isn't so great, haha
