Had to do makeup for my cousin Nina yesterday,so we headed off to Mactan early in the afternoon. The weather was lovely with the rain and the wind so I decided to wear something warm, but right after we took this photo, it started getting really hot, so I had to change into something more comfy. 

aren't these clogs awesome? well you can't see it well, but I'm betting you'll see more of it soon. My aunt got them for me in Hong Kong, theyre so pretty and comfy, I might add. Thanky auntie bet!

Also, my sister and her boyfriend are back from Japan! and they got me a lot of awesome stuff.  I'll post most of em soon, I just have to find a nice bottle (you really have to wait for it, it's awesome) and a place to wear it (and no, they are not the same thing)

here's the first thing they got me, it's so silly and quite addicting. I spend minutes just playing with it. and because I am a dork  cool, I shall show you a video of what it is. Pardon my facial expressions, I was concentrating on the toy haha

Spent my morning reading and lazing around then off grocery shopping and de-cluttering the fridge once the afternoon started. I grabbed a cartful of fruits and veggies to start this new "healthy lifestyle" I'm trying out haha. Ever since I had vertigo, I've been steering clear of meat and animal fat(I'm convinced it was all the meat that caused me to get sick,retarded, but I think it's true haha).  I don't know how long this is gonna last, but I hope it'll make my system much much stronger and cleaner. Plus I'm including the whole household in this too, hopefully we'll start eating a bit more healthy. Well, my parents do, but the kids generally don't :p. I'm not really following a regimen or anything, I'm just trying to incorporate more fruits and vegetables and less meat in my diet. 

I hope this works!

Sunday was composed of church, lunch out, buying boxing gloves for my dad, bringing my sister lunch and then off to Mactan to have dinner with the rest of the family. Had an awful migraine, which kept me nauseated the whole night, hormones can be such a pain :( 

also, another addition to the i-dont-like-my-face-series. I think the lion face was fitting for yesterday's theme since I was snappy and cranky because of the pain. I'm hormonal, and weird. (that was too much information for you, sorry)

Had a nice lazy day today. A few errands, then lunch with my momma at some nice  restaurant (it's my mum and dad's wedding anniversary today, Happy Anniversary! Love you both! ) and then dinner with the whole family at my grandparents' place. I've done nothing but eat today, which might cause a few problems in the near future. 

Also, been experimenting with photos (don't laugh), I'm obviously not a pro, but this will do, for now at least. 

And I pasted a bunny's face instead of my own because I didn't like the way I looked in the photo. I need to get a haircut soon, my bangs are too thick and too long and they bother me. Plus it's in that weird wavy/curly/straight stage, I wish it would make up it's mind soon. 

It's late, and I had way too much for dinner, I'm going to bed.

I've been extremely busy, hence the lack of posts. Been running around to pick up orders, check up on stocks and I don't even remember the rest. WillowandJack is almost almost done, so get ready everyone! About to launch soon! So excited!

I didn't wear the hat today, since it was raining all day, and I took this photo in my closet 'cause there wasn't enough light to take pictures, plus I got home late, so there. 

And that really is a stepladder in my closet, I'm quite short (if that wasn't obvious enough) and I need a bit of help getting stuff out. I have to admit, it's quite handy. I just wish it weren't so...hardware looking (what???) I plan to paint it someday, just can't do it now. 

Also, guess who the wind blew in? Grumbulus Grunt!

Anyhoo, I am falling asleep, my eyes hurt, and I'm not making sense anymore, off to bed!

Gloomy weather we're having! and quite timely for a very lazy, under the weather (no pun intended) type of day. I didn't even wake up early to work out (it feels weird saying that I work out, I find it funny that I, of all people, have started doing it haha). Staying home all day makes me feel lethargic and sleepy, I've no idea why.  

This poncho has got to be one of the most over worn pieces in my closet. I just love it. It's one of those buys where you just really have to get it no matter how crazy the price is, but it turns out great anyway 'cause you wear it with everything, everywhere all the time. And I did, and still do haha. I lived in this thing when I was in school and I took it with me everywhere. The thick jersey is just so comfy and it's really nice to snuggle in, plus it works as a pillow/blanket whenever I go somewhere far. This piece instantly makes me warm and cozy whenever I feel sick, one of the reasons why I pulled it out today. 

It's a bit retarded that I'm dedicating a whole post to this poncho. i apologize. haha

on another note, despite my being stuck at home, I did do some work today, but ended up hurting myself in the process. :(

I am positively the clumsiest person on the planet, I'm always hitting/scratching/bumping myself into anything. It doesn't look it, but the wound's quite deep and it stings :(

pardon my awkwardness, I still feel quite weird having my photo taken, especially kinds like these. was trying out the "blogger pose" haha, obviously failed at it. But props to my seven year old cousin Ty, who took the photos! 

Felt extra lazy today, well, lazier than normal that is. I wear t-shirts a lot, especially white ones, about 40 percent of my closet is white,  and most of those are different types of white t-shirts, (and i think that's a lot of t-shirts). I've been living in this WillowandJack tee lately, I just find these so comfy and breezy, perfect for the kind of weather we've been having lately.

stayed home today, i figured it was a good time to catch up on sleep (which, by the way, I did not end up doing) and do some work for willowandjack. BUT guess who came to visit?

Had an extremely busy day! ran around the city doing errands, derma run,  checking up on WillowandJack stocks and going to Mactan to visit family. I didnt even get to take proper pictures, hence the weird angled ones you see. Plus I only had sunflower seeds so snack on the whole day, which didnt do much. This whole eating right/healthy thing has gotten me headachey and cranky, I hope i get to stay on it, even for a week haha. Anyhoo, turning in early today, I am exhausted!

found out that Bork loves sunflower seeds too! who knew?

Adventures with Bork: One (Spots and stripes edition)

Bork's first blog cameo ever!

Many of my friends know Bork, but for those who haven't, Bork, everyone, everyone, Bork! 

This is his first appearance online, EVER, and we are all quite stoked! 

Bork was born a long long time ago, drawn on a Starbucks planner while procrastinating studying for  accounting with Paulina. He's made many appearances in most of my planners, but I  forgot about him (sorry!)  after I started using moleskins. 

But I don't think I could totally forget this silly little bugger ( he appeared in one of the dressing rooms my sister and I were taking photos in, see photo above)  and I think he's here to stay! 

oh right, ran errands with mum today and tried out a little mixin' (yes, i said mixin') with prints, mini jailhouse stripes and leopard to be exact.

 i've been keeping mum about this for quite some time, but it's almost ready and we're all so excited! i'll explain more in later posts, but basically, my sister and I are starting a line, and it's called Willow and Jack and we finally had the photo shoot the other day!
